KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 30, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Flyover Capital, a Kansas City-based venture capital firm dedicated to building technology success stories between the coasts, today announced the full lineup for MidxMidwest 2025 (MXMW), the region's premier gathering for founders, investors, and corporate innovation leaders.
Now in its fourth year, MidxMidwest has become a defining platform for connecting early-stage tech founders with capital and corporate partners across the heartland. The conference, hosted by Flyover Capital in partnership with Iron Prairie Ventures and Polsinelli, will take place on Nov. 13 at Hotel Kansas City.
Conference Day: Built on Ambition
This year's program, themed Built on Ambition, will bring together more than 250 attendees for a full day of tech innovation content and curated networking between founders, investors, and corporate leaders.
Flyover announced that High Alpha will debut findings from its 2025 SaaS Benchmarks Report, a leading data resource for founders seeking to measure and accelerate growth against industry peers.
The event's breakout sessions explore the technologies and sectors shaping the region's next wave of growth, including manufacturing, fintech, AI-powered software, and industrial innovation.
Featured sessions include:
- The Future of Money Movement: Danny Schneider (Lead Bank), Malik Velani (Preczn), and Dan Kerr (Flyover Capital)
- Competing at Scale: Maggie Kenefake (Iron Prairie Ventures) and Michael Schlotterbeck (Deloitte Consulting LLP)

- The State of PR in 2025: Mendy Werne (PANBlast, a Division of PAN)
The conference concludes with a MidxMidwest Social Hour at Hotel Kansas City, followed by smaller Dine-Arounds hosted across downtown restaurants, bringing together speakers, sponsors, and investors for more focused conversation and collaboration.
A New Kind of Kickoff: The MidxMidwest Starty Party
Ahead of the main conference, the week's networking kicks off at the MidxMidwest Starty Party on Nov. 12 at Knuckleheads, an open community event presented by Polsinelli, with support from Flyover Capital and Pipeline Entrepreneurs. Headlined by The Greeting Committee, a nationally touring indie-pop band with Kansas City roots, the Starty Party celebrates the creativity and collaboration that fuel the region's startup scene.
"The Starty Party captures what makes Kansas City special—our grit, collaboration, and the belief that big ideas can start here and grow anywhere," said Dan Kerr, managing partner at Flyover Capital.
A Platform for Collaboration and Growth
Since its inception, MidxMidwest has helped forge hundreds of strategic connections, fueling millions of dollars in follow-on investment and partnerships between tech founders and corporations across 19+ states.
"The goal of MidxMidwest is to create the connective tissue between founders, investors, and corporates so opportunities flow faster," said Alexa Heying, head of platform at Flyover Capital and lead organizer of the event. "Every new relationship built here strengthens the foundation for what the Midwest can become as a tech economy."
This year's conference is powered by corporate partners and ecosystem collaborators whose support makes MidxMidwest possible. In addition to Flyover Capital, Iron Prairie Ventures, and Polsinelli, key contributors include Pipeline Entrepreneurs, High Alpha, and the KC Tech Council. The KC Tech Council will host the Energy & Data Center Innovation Summit at Aspiria on Nov. 14, capping off a week that showcases the collaboration and ambition driving the region's tech economy forward.
While MidxMidwest conference registration has reached capacity, the Starty Party remains open to the broader community. Free tickets to the Starty Party and full event details are available at www.MidxMidwest.com.
